Hello, I am Alex. I am a Certified Casting Instructor (CCI) and listed guide with the Fly Fishers International (FFI).

I have fished for in excess of 40 years – the vast majority of which has been fly-fishing.

Whist my main passion is river fishing, and in particular Chalk Stream fishing for Grayling, I am equally at home chasing wild Brown Trout or any coarse fish for that matter on moving water, or in fact still water trout from our local still waters.

I have been fortunate enough to have fished around the world – both for freshwater fish as well as for saltwater species – learning many techniques and approaches along the way. Check out my gallery for some examples…

I regularly fish on the England competitions scene,  but relaxed pleasure fishing in beautiful surroundings takes some beating in my opinion. We are hugely fortunate on this Island to have some stunning rivers and incredible fish to go after.
